Game Design Homework 1 (aka: Prove you know how to post in a blog)

Wait, wait, let me explain!

I am Blayne, and what is this?  Well, I suppose it's my attempt to document my efforts in game development.  For the moment at least, this is specifically through the context of Florida State University's Fall 2010 Game Design class being offered by the Department of Scientific Computing.  For the class we're required to maintain such a blag and use it for our assignments and the likes.  I shall do so here, but hopefully also use it for any other work I do towards this long-standing goal of mine.  And with that... let's get started on my dang homework!
